Can someone fill me in on this Michael Crook kid?

Apparently he is now openly admitting to sending a hateful note to a wounded veteran (http://www.michaelcrooktalks.com/). In fact, it seems as if this kid is in the habit of making anti-troop websites like this (http://www.citizensagainstthetroops.org/) where he openly calls for the deaths of US troops.

Then I just saw a clip of this kid on Hannity and Colmes and he just made a fool out of himself.

I see a couple of possibilities:

1) Its some kind of psych op put out there by the Bush team to demonize the anti-war movement. Think they wouldn't do it? They've just admitted to spying on Americans, outing an undercover CIA operative, paying off newspaper columnists in the US and in Iraq and running secret prisons. This would be child's play for them, and in fact it was done many times in the Vietnam era to demonize the anti-war movement. They would plant infiltrators into groups like SDS to stir up internal divisions and deliberately make the anti-war movement appear like out of the mainstream wackos. This Crook kid could very well be a young little neo-con doing this as part of his apprenticeship.

2) This kid is just an idiot trying to get some attention for himself by showing how enlightened and smart he supposedly is. I have a lot of students like that: kids who just think they know everything and have the answers to all the problems of the world, before they have even been a part of it. In any event, if he is for real, he's a complete asshole who should be forcefully denounced.
