I love Peter, and miss him.

But Bozita turned me on to his Detroit broadcast and also to Nate Clay on Saturday nights out of Chicago. Two great broadcasters that should be on all week!

for someother AAR hosts during either this week or next. I just tried to find the sub schedule, but couldn't locate one.

so tomorrow and the two days after that Mike will be on during RR's time. What time is Randi Rhodes on? I'm not a big listener to anyone on AA except for Malloy.

Thursday 12/22 Mike will be LIVE at his usual 10PM ET time for the annual Mike Malloy Fitzmas, er, YULAPALOOZA holiday celebration. Then Mike will be off the air for the 4-day holiday weekend. Please enjoy a "best of" Malloy on Friday 12/23 and Monday 12/26.

Mike will guest host for Randi again Tuesday 12/27 and Peter will substitute for Mike. Then Mike is back at his regular time Wednesday night 12/28. Thurs 12/29 and Fri 12/30 Mike will be filling in for Randi, with Peter substituting for Mike a final time at 10PM ET on the 29th and a "best of Malloy" Friday the 30th.

We're all back on track Monday 01/02/2006 to tackle whatever fresh hell the Bush Crime Family has in store for the New Year!

The first time I heard him I was ticked Mike wasn't on - this sort of counted against him unfairly. It is time for me to give him another chance...

With the benefit of hindsight & recognizing your inherent prejudice against him, how was he?

10-15 minutes I listened, and during that time he said he had an "ADD" style, which I thought was fairly accurate. Looking back I think he may have been feeling incredibly nervous about filling in for Mike and that his style might be more smooth once he has made it through the first burst of energy at the start of the show. I really didn't listen long enough to say more than that...

I read some really good reviews of Werbe here at DU and was sorry I hadn't stayed tuned longer...

I noticed that he wasn't quite himself in those first few days. He's much more settled on his own Sunday night program. And he takes callers almost right off the bat. He usually has a very short exposition. I imagine it will be longer tonight given the current events.

Btw, he's going to be travelling to Venezuela soon for a conference. I'm looking forward to his reporting when he returns after the first of the year.

but now I feel there's nobody better.
