What's next? U.S. Muslim internment camps to "protect" the general public?
Bush claims he was only "protecting" the public... does
that mean he can do ANYTHING if his "intention" is for
the general welfare? The road to hell is paved with
good intentions... isn't that why we have laws?

Grr....:grr: :grr:

1. Yep...and those protestors...WAY too violent
something could get out of control. Better to nip it in the bud now.

2. How do we know that it is not happening already?
The American Muslim community is pretty much guarded (for good reason, I think) and the "liberal media" has been MIA for 5 years.

How would we find out?

4. One of the first things we need to reinstate
when the DEMs get back in power is the media's independence from the corporations. We are witnessing first hand how vital a healthy 4th Estate to maintaining a democracy.

5. BushCo won't formally call it internment.
They'll use use some alternate, possibly stealthy, method
like the post-9/11 roundup on material witness warrants
to an informal chain of jails, prisons, and detention centers.
Some persons may declared "enemy combatants" like Jose Padilla,
completely outside the law. "Extraordinary renditions" or
mass deportations can also happen.

Bush and Cheney operate in total contempt for both U.S. and
international law. Don't expect them do anything above board.

8. Neocon Daniel Pipes is on record calling for internment
camps for Muslim Americans, so it may very well happen in the future.
