But hell's bells, these people take it to a whole new dimension never before approached, don't they? Like, illegal dimensions. Don't they have any idea of balance or moderation? At all? Ah well, we all see what hubris does.

Today my husband turned to me after watching the news and said "these republicans are like termites in a house. You find one rotted area and you just keep pulling it apart and find more and more and more until you realized the whole damn house is rotted through with the nasty buggers."

I thought he described the US right about now pretty well.
