Watching CSPAN .. heard a few skips, glitches there. Anyone else watching another network hear those? Curious. :shrug:

5. Yes, Cspan over satellite (Dish) it's been skipping-is anyone from
the network ACTUALLY in the room with him, or is it possible that he recorded this earlier and they are FEEDING this to the networks now?

And bush is actually in bed because it's past his bedtime

7. I've been messing with video, film, etc.. for years .......
and I know you too liveoaktx at con-o-fun react to stuff like this because of experience. Sure would like to hear from someone else in this thread who watched this thing on another network to see if they caught the same thing. I just want to hear if it may have just been a CSPAN posible glitch, or if it happened on other networks. Peace.

note: DU servers seem to be getting a load, haven't been able to post here for awhile.

9. I watched MSNBC and there were no glitches. Probably a
satellite issue.

6. Hmmm...
Glitches in a *live* speech. The late-night talk show hosts (Letterman, Leno, etc.) are going to have a lot of fun with this! It's pretty obvious that the Bush administration is trying to pull a fast one on us again, sort of like when they were telling the troops what to say before their Q&A with Bush a few months ago. I don't think this speech is live at all. People have figured them out. Why don't they give this stupid stuff up?

is your resolution copy of this thing clean enough to zoom in on the presidents 'left hand' and see what time his WATCH says? Freeze a frame as he waves his hands around ...... :rofl: ........... just a thought, real James Bond stuff I'm asking you to do here, 007 Thank's for the VIDEO. My CSPAN is connected through Cable .. not satellite, and I saw the same 'glitches' .....

5 and it definitely isn't 9 o'clock.

20. Thanks for checking .....
wish I could get a really clean DVD copy of this speech tonight. All the networks claimed it was 'live' but everything in this administration is scripted so why should this be any different? I'll just bet it took him a few 'takes' to get this right. I'm set up to re-record it if and when CSPAN replays it tonight sometime just for the heck of it. :)
