Joe Biden , you blew it again!
What kind of Democratic response did we all just witness??? We must "stay the course"??? I just saw the Delaware senator basically give his pants to the Bushites. Once again, a Democrat wimps out. It was just too painful to watch. If the Democrats were serious in bringing a response, why couldn't they have brought in Ted Kennedy, Russ Feingold, or Barbara Boxer? But Joe Biden??? Give me a break!

Of course maybe he'll be Hillary's running mate in '08! :sarcasm:

6. Before the speech, one of the talking heads said there wasn't any
official "Democratic response". It would just be individual Democrats giving their opinion of the speech.

So Joe wasn't an "official" response. It was just Joe.

8. The Second Ranking Vichey Appeaser in the DLC
And did anyone pick up the complaint from Larry King regarding "no Democratic Party leadership response prepared? "

That just about says it all, i would think.

Question: Why is it that the Democratic Party thinks it can continue to "stay the course" (keep doing what it's been doing, over and over again) and yet still expect a different result?

I'm NOT just talking about the issue of Iraq!

9. Is there anyway to keep these idiots off of the air?
Both Lieberman and Biden are doing us no favors yet they're on the TV all the freaking time. I think these two are the main reason why various talking turds keep saying that the Democrats offer no alternatives. These idiots are put on TV constantly, supposedly "representing" the Democratic side, yet they just rubber stamp Bush's actions.

10. Remember who is putting them ON the air! The GOP-controlled media!
Why would you expect Bush's major corporate donor networks and cable outlets to put forth the best voices opposing his policies?

12. Why do you have to ask Biden to say the hardest thing?
:D

Little play on what I heard Randi talking about on C-Span today. She asked Biden why he didn't call Bush a liar, and Biden said "Why do you have to ask me to say the hardest thing?".
