10. Let's see, we had year's worth of untranslated tapes. Ashcroft
pulled 100 FBI agents off the anti-terrorism task force and put them on investigation of prostitution in New Orleans, Ashcroft's budget to be presented 9-12-01 didn't have anti-terrorism in the top 7 threats for the Justice Department (and FBI) to work on in the coming year.
* pulled funding from anti-terrorism and tried to move to Star Wars, the missile defense system that we didn't need.
How would wiretapping have helped?? I simply don't understand.
I think that the Republican who was on is a total fascist. That's the impression I got while I was watching him. Amazing how some people could care less about the things this country was built on. Hitler would have loved him.
'Cuz then somebody would have notified they preznit before it happened, maybe by giving him a daily brief entitiled "Bin laden determined to strike inside the US", and then....nevermind.
13. seen in another thread "we must watch florida & ohio" but that's the gig..
about the elec college, that's what clinton understood with a quickness...it happens where it happens. everybody was already looking at florida when it came down in ohio...vigilance is key, apathy is key.
showing up to actually vote will be key start voting these jackals the hell out of office come 2006!!!
I wouldn't vote for a Repig for ANY office - ever. ( I have a rather close friend - a real nice guy - that is (R) that I voted for several times - real minor local office - but no more. Fuck them all. I can't deal with their party line anymore.
To Long Island- the rest of our Congressional delegation is Democratic ( though not as liberal as I'd like). We have a target on Mr. King for next year- every committed Dem on LI is gunning for him- King is a prick- he really is- he insults his constituents- he is arrogant as hell. I'd really love to see him taken out.
