I'll probably add more later but if you watched Bush's silly speech last night, you know that his hands were constantly moving. I had this feeling he was playing three-card monte in his head OR that he was fixing to grab a straw hat and cane and start dancing on the table.

He DID do his usual divisive threatening. Instead of "If you're not with me, you're with the terrorists", he called anyone who doesn't buy into his peculiar baloney "defeatists". Looks like someone told him to frame the Iraq War in terms of Victory Versus Defeat, with Victory, of course, meaning that once you've illegally entered and occupied a country, you don't leave until you've some nebulous "Victory" occurs.

I REALLY felt creeped out, though, when he said, basically, that he knew some people didn't agree with him and that they... should.. JOIN ... him. Felt all oily, like I needed to take a shower. The day I join up with that loser's idea, who seems to channel Dictators who operate in secret, is the day that I fall on my head and lose all my brains.
