I've thought of this possibility since the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Yay Levin! Hopefully all democrats will jump on board and we can get some other republicans too for the spying issue such as Hagel and maybe Specter and people like Bob Barr who seems pissed off about the spying.

27. dub tried to put the spying in a good light
like it stopped further terror attacks. He actually did nothing to stop 911 and this stuff is probably more about spying on opposition rather than turrowists.
The ball was in the dems court and they took it and ran with it. :applause:

7. Russ just said it - "The President doesn't have a legal leg to stand on"
pointed out the 72 hour rule and that Congress could just go home if the President can make the executive powers and laws up as he goes along!

Go Russ!

Bob Barr on Wolfie's show did great with why Bush should be impeached. Just because you're "at war" doesn't mean you can forget about the Constiution. The Constiution should be followed always whether or not it has to do with so-called "terrorism". I betcha if Clinton did this or any other democrat they all would be up in arms. I can't believe there are some people who are happy that Bush was spying on every day Americans. He broke his office oath and should be impeached now and anyone who helped him.
