Mike Malloy: "Realizes that these fucking fascists are fucking with him

and his homies."

"He's (Malloy) a liberal cock, who, within the space of two minutes A) referred to Rush Limbaugh as "Pig Man," B) referred to Sean Hannity as "Pig Man's little butt boy." and C) said that he "hates" these people and wants to line them up and shoot them with an M-16. I can't believe this guy is on the air."

"Erich found a kindred spirit...

When I first started listening to Air America Radio, I was afraid. Everything Democrats do these days chugs cock like a Thai orphan. They've fucked up my home state of California, probably beyond repair, and let the Republicans take over the country through massive and unapologetic incompetence. I reckoned that Air America Radio would be a mouthpiece for the DNC (Democratic National Committee), and therefore would either be a radio version of the tedious, masturbatory blogs that pollute the Internet, or a vehicle for the inane, calculated drivel that leaks from the mouth of most Democratic candidates. But, to my surprise, it turns out that Air America Radio is pretty good.

Who is the most Ruthless man on Air America Radio? Mike Malloy, hands down. This dude is exactly what people on the left need to strive for because he is the opposite of a liberal vagina. He's a liberal cock, who, within the space of two minutes A) referred to Rush Limbaugh as "Pig Man," B) referred to Sean Hannity as "Pig Man's little butt boy." and C) said that he "hates" these people and wants to line them up and shoot them with an M-16. I can't believe this guy is on the air.

What's beautiful about Malloy is the sheer relentlessness of his anger and vitriol. I mean, I fucking hate Bush and his cronies and would love nothing more than to drown the lot of them in a pool of blood. But psychologically, I'm incapable of caring much about it day to day. Maybe once a week, I think, "I can't believe this shit. Why are barbarians running my country?" and my blood pressure surges. Then a girl with a nice ass walks by and I forget the whole thing. Ah, the jolly distraction... ass. Anyhow, you can turn on Malloy's show at any point, and realize that he hasn't long to live. Five times a week, he spends several hours hovering at near-stroke levels as he tears into the horrible people who are destroying our country, including most Democrats.

Perhaps what I like most about Mike is that his show is driven by an often articulated understanding of the difference between the "intolerance" of the left and that of the right. We are like the gangbangers who populated a shitty neighborhood in which I used to live. Everyone used to say, "don't fuck with them, and they won't fuck with you." The Republican party wants to fuck with you. It wants to tell you who you can fuck, and what you can do to avoid unwanted children after you fuck them. It wants to transfer your wealth to the rich. It wants to "protect" you from porn and crude humor, not to mention facts and reason. It wants to force Christianity on you. Malloy doesn't hate most Republicans in the way that so many Republicans hate gays. In other words, he isn't a bigot. He realizes that these fucking fascists are fucking with him and his homies. That we've put up with it for too long and that it's time to bust a mufuckin' cap. Bravo, Mike."

2. OK, here's the thing..
I like Mike Malloy, I just find it hard to listen to him.

No, not for those PC "Can't we all just get along" crap reasons. The guy is just HARD for me to listen to. I mean, Malloy gives all the bad shit back to the Republicans, it's like looking at some typical right wing hater like Ann Coulter in the negative .. Mike's actual CONTENT makes Coulter look like an insect .. but sentiment.

I get so sick of the bleeding heart variety of liberal and their faux-liberal right wing media shill brothers in arms always with the nails-on-chalkboard screech about civility which is always one-sided civility with the republicans going unremarked dripping vitriol with every step and liberals being called down for being "uncivil" if they mutter a peep. Give me a break.

The thing of it is, I wouldn't match hate for hate no matter how tempting it is as a radio personality. There is a thing that makes liberals different from right wingers. I think most of us don't live/thrive on hate 24/7 whether it's "bigotry" or just the garden variety hate. I understand all of the reasons WHY mike "hates these people" and I even say it myself. I just don't find hate nourishing. It's empty calories.

After about an hour or so of listening to Malloy I just have to turn off the radio .. it's too much.

Still, I do like Mike ;)

3. If everybody listened to Mike even ONE hour a day....
...the country as a whole would have a much better grip on reality.

4. And we were all nice democrats like you for so many years...
Edited on Mon Dec-19-05 05:37 PM by LaPera
not hateful, turning the other cheek...and wouldn't it be nice if it got us somewhere, except a place in heaven?

Listen to the excellent Thom Hartmann, I love him too...He's more your personality type...

Personally, I also need a dose of Malloy each day...keeps me on my toes...so I don't become a passive progressive liberal, (or worst, a fucking moderate) with the "live and let live" motto, as I watch these republican cocksuckers stomp gleefully and illegally on my civil rights and the Constitution and proudly and arrogantly shout about it in every liberals face...and saying, you nice democrats can't and won't do shit about it!!!

Oh but the nice liberals, will get behind their keyboards and politely rant...then do jackshit, nothing, but softly whine and say gee, we really should do something, oh my!!! Give me a fucking break!!! That's not Mike's style, nor mine...

Here in this real world, the mean, spiteful, hateful, greedy, republican fascist look forward to, and have been enjoying years of your Democratic philosophy and look where it's gotten this country...

Some probably respect the spineless do nothing, say nothing democrats, who look and sound just like republicans...(and are bought and paid for just like the republicans).

Maybe not, but just don't say it too loud or we might get something accomplished liked those cheating bastard republicans.

6. Um, no.
"You probably respect the spineless do nothing, say nothing democrats, who look and sound just like republicans...(and are bought and paid for just like the republicans)."

I share your disgust with the spinelessness of the Democratic Party, actually. I haven't quite jumped ship like Mike has, just yet. There is a peculiar fecklessness about it, as well - it's kinda bizarrely two-faced to insist (correctly) that our President is a Nazi, and then turn around and politely clap in his State of the Union addresses.

As far as who to listen to, I'll go on listening to as much of Mike as I can take, thanks ;) But really Randi Rhodes (despite not being terribly sophisticated) is more my rhetorical/tempermental speed. I just wish I could transplant Al Franken's brain into Randi Rhodes' head or Randi Rhodes' mouth onto Al Franken's face.

10. Thom Hartmann is the one you should listen to. He is great. And
brunch with Bernie (Sanders) is the highlight of my Fridays.

12. Mike realizes these are desperate times that call for desperate measures
and such a measure is both rhetorical barrels against this cabal of hateful destroyers of anything decent and open and good who emerged from a tub of shit and bile and their trail of slime and stink-suffused, perverted goo requires something caustic and unrelenting to counter and neutralize it. Yes, at that rate he might not have long to live as Kathy's husband and Molly's father, but maybe just maybe that is his destiny-to be a catalyst.

14. For some reason
I actually find listening to Malloy to be a comforting experience. Soothing, even.

Just knowing that those words are being sent out over the airwaves causes a peaceful feeling to settle over me and my blood pressure to momentarily recede. It's almost like he's having a stroke so I don't have to.

I enjoyed listening to him subbing for Randi during my afternoon commute today. The fever pitch intensity of his rage was so satisfying to listen to, I was untouched and untroubled by the sea of gridlock and retardation that is I-75.

17. Well in deference to Mike Malloy, Zinfandel and you too
I think there is a hearty place in the universe for healthy liberal anger. Rage and hate, even, when warranted and truly felt. This is why I never voiced a criticism of Mike Malloy on this thread, even if some of what I've said may be confused with criticism.

What I think is a bit of a mistake (in general) is to confuse a generally sunny disposition (which I have a lot of the time) with political spinelessness and weakness or "hiding from the truth".

I think that's the mistake the wingnuts make, to their cost.

for having a sunny disposition. (I wish mine was sunnier.) And welcome to DU!

19. Well see message #4, and thanks for the welcome ;)
I thought I'd provide an explanation (even if unowed) since I was taken a bit aback being described in a certain way earlier in the thread - not by you.

I feel like I've come home to Democratic Underground, it's like a breath of fresh air. There is literally no place else on the web you can have a friendly (yes, I know that hated word) conversation with people who even agree with you on most everything politically.

So again, thanks for your welcome and all the kindness the DU's have shown me .. it's like coming home.
