Repubs still lying that the terrorists came from Canada on 9/11!!!
I just saw Henry Champ on CBC Newsworld and he was rather astounded to report that the lie is still being told that the terrorists of 9/11 came across the Canadian border to attack America....He then showed a clip from today, of Sen. Conrad Burns (R. Montana) saying "we must remember that the terrorists who killed all those Americans on Sept. 11, 2001, came across the border from Canada to attack us.".....I wonder how many Americans still believe that shit...It's completely false....NOT ONE of the 9/11 terrorists came from Canada....This has been proven and stated many times, but there are still some, like Sen. Burns, who insist on repeating the lie....

1. ONE terrorist, the "Millennium Bomber", came from Canada
NONE (0) of the 9/11 terrorists came from Canada.

There was a report (false) just after 9/11 that one or more of the 9/11 gang came to the US via a ferry from Nova Scotia. But it was quickly proven false.

But that hasn't stopped the more ignorant from continuing to claim that they were from Canada.

But, consider the source...

3. What bothers me is I wonder how many ordinary Americans believe it?
There are so many negative things being fed to the American public about Canada....You have to wonder....

Because this is the first that I'm hearing the terrorists didn't come into the US from Canada.

I'm not trying to be a smartass, mind you...but I want to know the truth under the lie, okay?

14. Somehow, I didn't catch this when the
September 11th Commission released their report....I'd always thought that the hijackers completed their flight training in the US, went to Europe for some additional terrorist training or to get funds and then re-entered the US from Canada to carry out the hijackings.

Well, you learn something new everyday!

All the stories are still there... they all left from US cities... Boston, New Jersey... we need stricter laws about lying to the American people for political gain! Bastards.

7. Yes, all the flights originated in the US.........
but supposedly all the hijackers got into the US from Canada and then dispersed to those airports to catch those flights. At least, that's how I remember the story being told.

12. I'm not sure what you mean but I can tell you something funny about them.
The minutemen decided they were going to patrol the northern border like they are Mexico....In the northwest, they waited and waited and patrolled and patrolled....Nobody was trying to flee from Canada so they finally gave up....On the eastern coast they went to Maine and it seems they couldn't find the Canadian border....Hahaha

13. Meaning that the idiots made a huge show of guarding the border
between the US and Mexico, and, according to one of their party, the terrorists are coming from the other direction . . . Canada (whether or not that's true . . . and it's not) . . .
