2. Ha!
"A majority, or 52 percent, say it was a mistake to send troops to Iraq, and 61 percent say they disapprove of how he is handling Iraq specifically."

There is hope!

3. That's why I want Bush giving as many speeches as he can
The more he speaks, the more his poll numbers dive.

6. Pundits have been saying this and that about how "the people"
are getting behind bush, when in reality it's only what they think. This "the people" shit is getting really rampant right now.

you can't tread water when you're buried up to shoulders in quicksand. Couldn't happen to a more perfect asshole.

9. The article says this poll wasn't taken after his oval office speech,
so let's see what happens a bit later.

I won't be too surprised that his #'s get a bit of a bounce in the next week or so, but I'm sure it won't last.

10. This was taken before yesterday
I think this is great news though, and hopefully his blitz over the past two days won't give him much of a bounce if any.

Even if it did, the reality in Iraq is what matters. The more they give the public false hope (as they spent the weekend doing) vs what really happens (chaos), the worse it is for them.

I don't know why they think they can spin when the facts don't support them.

11. The cost of gasoline going up an average of 30 cents according to CNN
earlier today. Bush's Iraq numbers haven't moved, despite his speeches. Supposedly, the so-called bounce had more to do with the easing of gas prices.

13. I bet he starts another freefall once they factor in his spying
on ordinary Americans illegally.

I love that the media (Matthews, Couric, etc.) are trying to act like the average American supports this shit. The average American hasn't been aware. As we continue to unveil these things they will continue to turn on the Boy King.
