5. What will hearings accomplish?

A sincere question. Would such hearings lead to impeachment/forced resignation or would they only air on CSPAN, be covered on DU and disappear a week later?

9. done - asked them to find out WHO was spied on. Why not use FISA
unless your wiretaps were politically motivated and would not pass muster before the court. The law even allows wiretaps to be done 72 hours before alerting the court in emergencies - so why not use the court?

Who was the target of these wiretaps?

Peaceful anti-war protestors? The DLC? We already know they spied on the UN. Who else? Fitzgerald?
