Who was spied on?
As the weeks and months roll by the names of those subjected to wiretapping will begin to leak out. It will then reveal the reason that Bush had to bypass the courts. I am certain that those spied on will include elected Representatives in both houses of congress, entertainers and writers, and political activists in the democratic party and the peace movement. This is the reason for Bush's desperation in concealing this from the public. He and Cheney know they are in serious legal jeopardy. They know there will come the day that there own party will have to abandon them.

2. This is why we have been scratching our heads about why
so many people from our representatives to business and the media have been falling in step with the administration when common sense tells us they would never do that... unless someone had something on them.

3. There's no question that political enemies of Thw AWOL/Moron were targeted
to be spied upon. Afterall, there was no other reason they couldn't bug anyone remotly connected to any REAL law enforcement situation.

Had to be ONLY people who would not have been allowed by the court.

5. Well, I don't think it was any accident that US made anthrax went
to the two most powerful liberal dems in the senate (at the time_- Daschle and Leahey.

Of course they were spying on their political opponents and etc! And, I pray to god they will be nailed on this!

I sure as heck don't think they were spying on the trillions of illegal imigrants that waltz into our country every day!

6. You remember the Senate computer thefts?
Edited on Mon Dec-19-05 07:22 PM by salvorhardin
from 2001-2003?

Dear Attorney General Ashcroft:

As you know, the Senate Sergeant at Arms is currently investigating the theft by Republican staff of internal Democratic computer files from the Judiciary Committee server. Thousands of computer files are involved, and the secret surveillance apparently took place from at least 2001 into 2003. It appears that those involved in this surveillance and theft passed along information derived from their activities to partisan activists and to hand-picked columnists and media organizations. The subject matter of most of the stolen materials appears to have been judicial nominations.

I think an interesting question to ask would be, "Are there any connections to the NSA spying on American citizens here?"

9. Remember Bolton and the NSA intercepts
they REFUSED to let the Senate see that infomration why, it had to be explosive. I would
say that since we know there were 14 intercepts involved at that time, that means that
there are members of the Congress who were the targets of those intercepts.

11. Yes the Bush regime needs to come clean..
Bush's enemies list needs congressional and judicial
oversight.... the the executive branch is NOT free to
act like the gestapo. Thos in the administration that
broke the law need to go to jail... that includes the
president who ordered these illegal actions.
