UPDATE: Media placement for 2005 Political Holiday (PHOTO)
Edited on Mon Dec-19-05 07:24 PM by Radio_Lady
Thanks for the encouragement in getting this photo placed locally at our largest weekly alternative newspaper, "Willamette Week," here in Portland, Oregon. I heard from a reporter today that they want to place it in this week's Thursday edition. Here are the original threads, in case you want to see how this developed:

1. To those who were concerned about the resident's privacy issues...

I did discuss this with the reporter. He felt it was not necessary to get the resident's permission since the sign was visible on a Portland-area road. They don't have any interest in interviewing him. I do hope they mention the Democratic Underground. The reporter told me he was able to see the DU threads which I cited for him.

However, I called the City Hall and did get the name and address of the owner. He has a fairly common last name, but no one with that name came up with a listed telephone in Oregon. So, I assume his telephone is not listed. I tried to call two telephone numbers I found connected with -- interestingly enough -- one of the Oregon Democratic organizations. I also sent messages to two people identified by an email search.
