In the press conference, * said he had these powers when congress approved
of * going to war in Afghanistan. Weren't the taps starting long before then? Of course it's illegal no matter what...

3. Me too, the more they talk the more the lies unravel
They are all scrambling to come up with some legal recourse for what they did and there is none. Violated the Constitution. Period.

4. I don't give a rat's red ass if * said Jesus bloody Christ told
him to do it...

The Constitution is the supreme law of the land.

The Constitution was violated.

Therefore, * is a criminal.

End of story.

5. Read the constitution. very straightforward...

The Constitution EXPRESSLY says the President must get JUDICIAL approval (Warrant). Congress does not have the power to grant Bush this.

Because of NIXON's spying on Americans (which helped bring him down) the FISA law was enacted which REQUIRES the president to get a warrant approved by a judge. In extreme emergencies, as Bushless wonder has claimed existed, the law has a provision that the wiretaps can begin. The President has 72 hours (3 days) after beginning the wiretapping to get the warrant.

The fucker is breaking the law. It doesn't matter if he told jesus himself...The only authority to wiretap is through a judge. Bush has broken legislative law and CONSTITUTIONAL law. He is guilty and impeachable.
