Watch Newt Gingrich on this Spygate issue
You heard it heare first. He will slap the president very hard on this.

He is going to run for President. I am convinced and his matra is going to be someone has to rescue the party from these idiot NeoCons.

This is by no means an endorsement. But Gingringch will try and make this a wedge issue withing the party.

1. He's part of the reason we're in the mess the RW created.
Boot Newt.

5. *sigh*
I miss the good old days when the republicans were just evil and greedy instead of this current mutation which is evil, greedy and INSANE!;)

3. That's a good thing.

I would like to see so many of those assholes try for the nomination that it will fragment their party so bad that they will have trouble coming up with a platform. I would like to see them sling mud at each other as bad as they did at Kerry in 04 and Gore in Y2K.

4. he IS an idiot neocon
one of the early prototypes, the countryfried version (except for his Beltway repubican hair helmet).

Seriously, he attends their tea parties regularly and parties hearty with them (e.g. his buddy founding PNAC member Jon Weber) and served on the Defence Policy Review Board during Perle's chairmanship. He's too much of a 1980's goyische Baptist Republican to rub elbows too closely with the wacky emigre academics at the core of the neocon cabal, but he is part and parcel of the movement, just of the preapocalyptic branch.

6. I don't think that he can really run
He has too much baggage, such as divorcing his wife while she was undergoing cancer treatment and messing around while married, etc.

7. Why not? That background makes for a fine republican candidate
Morality and virtue was never a requirement for the RW.
