8. That must be why the plane crash became a matter of such import that they
had to have it on pretty much non-stop for hours this afternoon, as if there weren't any other issues of critical importance. It was disappointing.

because a witness (the local news said "a" witness) claimed to have seen an explosion. Yet, a witness claimed to see an explosion from Wellstone's plane and was pretty much ignored.
