the media whores were quick to talk about impeaching Clinton

when Monicagate broke, it was all the rage to rush to the ultimate outcome.

Sam and Cokie come to mind, but it was widespread.

They didn't wait for repblicans to call for impeachment. They didn't talk about impeachment in terms of republicans calling for it.

But with Bush and spygate, it's very different. They're bending over backwards to give Bush the benefit of the doubt. They're responding to dems' technical legal concerns by talking about "the court of public opinion."

When they get around to talking about impeachment, it will no doubt be framed as dems trying to score political points.

2. I find it simply amazing...

that the MSM is not completely outraged at what is clearly a high crime committed by Bush. I wonder what it will take for them to be outraged at anything bush does - taking away their paychecks would probably be the ONLY thing that would tick these morons off.

4. Elizabeth Bumiller once explained the whore reasoning

she said she and her cohort couldn't just come out and make obvious observations about Bush, they had to wait until dems say something. But then when dems do say something, the whores frame it as "Bush hatred."

7. Which just proves what I had always contended...

that you can't "win" with the MSM - they are as biased toward the Pugs and against the Dems, and the only thing they care about is being blow-dried, well dressed stenographers for the Bush Administration. Makes me glad that I never went into Journalism 35 years ago. I would have either left the profession altogether or I would have gravitated to alternative journalism.
