My frustration is rooted in experience. How do we know where to
go, if we don't know where we have been?????

Take a look at how quickly Watergate unfolded in the snail-mail age. Pay attention to the dates, the chronology of events.....all of this took part without the Internet.

It will be THREE YEARS IN MARCH that Bush illegally took us to war, and how far have we really gotten since then? What has been the progress for good?

1. The two situations are not comparable
What Nixon did was in secret; what Bush did was pretty open, and he got the Congress to sign off on it.

And there has been considerable progress; people are starting to see through this administraions B.S., and they are being much more closely scrutinized than they were even a year ago.

I can understand frustration, but don't let it blind you to the progress we are making.

3. The difference is not found in not being comparable, but how quickly and
doggedly the crime was sniffed out.

We are a woefully lazy and comfortable society.

I am suspect of how many different potential "crimes" have fizzeled out like wet fireworks.

2. It took three years and one month from the crime to Nixon resigning.
