Stalin's Human/Ape Mutant Breeding Plan

Updated: 09:37, Tuesday December 20, 2005

Soviet dictator Josef Stalin tried to create an invincible army by crossing humans with apes, according to secret documents.

The Kremlin chief ordered his scientists to create the mutant species that would be "resilient and resistant to hunger".

Archive papers quote him demanding the breed should be of "immense strength but with an underdeveloped brain".

Part of his terrifying plan was use the mutants to work on railway construction, according to The Sun.

1. That's the terrifying part?
Having mutants work on raily construction? I don't know - that seems pretty benign. One has to assume they wouldn't be unionized.

3. Sounds like the plot for a bad horror movie!
But if GW is the product of such research, it went horribly wrong ... he doesn't seem to have immense strength at all.

5. 'Um, are we sure that Bab's didn't take part in the human with ape plan?
I mean, her firstborn Junior...he sure looks like the missing link. Maybe Junior's real Poppy isn't Poppy.

10. Now that I've read the article, the most horrifying part is clearly
their abduction of African women and their attempts to impregnate them with ape sperm. Chimp jokes aside, that is pretty damned gruesome.

15. Could this be related to the truckload of Mengele's work...
...that went unaccounted for when the Russians took Aushwitz?

Giant Asian Ape and Humans Coexisted, Might Have Interacted

Ben Harder
for National Geographic News

December 8, 2005
Stalking through the forest, an early human hunter might have glimpsed an oversize ape through a thicket of bamboo.

We may never know the outcome of such a prehistoric encounter—or even if a meeting occurred. The mysterious ape, called Gigantopithecus blacki, has long since vanished from the Earth, and so has the early human species.

But researchers have determined that the giant ape—which might have been the closest thing to a real King Kong—did in fact live at the same time and in roughly the same place as early humans.

In China 300,000 years ago the two species might well have crossed paths, according to W. Jack Rink of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.

20. I don't doubt it. I'm just wondering if there's anything at all...
...connecting Stalin's involvement in the experiments and the missing truckload of Mengele's research. It's possible that there was no missing truckload at all, that it was just a clerical error or something, but I think about it every time I hear something about Russians and genetic studies.
