"catch the falling flag", henry hyde regarding Clinton's ____ job
i remember so well the screaming outrage of henry hyde and the republicans after clinton's little blow job lie as if the whole fucking world had come to an end and a blow job equaled high treason. they spent 80 million to investigate it, (and only 3 million investigating nine eleven) and henry hyde made the famous breathless quote, 'catch the falling flag' as if clinton's single sex lie was the same as killing children.

WHERE IS THE FUCKING OUTRAGE FROM OUR SIDE CONCERNING BUSH'S COUNTLESS TREASONOUS MURDEROUS LIES? WHERE? bush has admitted with a smirk on his face many acts of tyranny, and there's barely a whimper from the democrats.

1. Democrats are afraid of Republicans, but Republicans are not
afraid of Democrats.

2. They wanna see which way the wind blows first?
It beats me why the Dems aren't more outraged and up in arms over this wiretapping crime.

And it is a crime.

It should be immediately impeachable... and would be... if the Dems weren't so cowed and
supine sometimes.

3. But, but, but, there was no oral sex involved!

I wish I knew why Bill Clinton's lawyer didn't tell him to not answer the question and to march him out of that deposition when the questioning went in that direction in the first place.

5. Right You Are!
I know one is supposed to answer everything in a deposition, and could be held in contempt for failing to do so. But, contempt is a parking ticket compared to lying under oath. The best thing to have done was to refuse to answer and leave the proceedings under protest. The odds that his lawyers could not have convinced a presiding judge that the protest was valid for materiality purposes were pretty high, i think. Then, no violation at all. Really stupid decision.
