we've learned to accept shit as ice cream, they dish it out, we eat it and like it and say, 'oh well, we can't impeach him, writing our congressmen seems pointless, rioting in the streets it too messy and negative, whining and blaming is so much easier that actually doing something to stop the maniacs'.

it's like a wave of cowardice has infected the nation like a flu epidemic. a wave of apathy, indifference, and powerlessness. a wave of 'nothing we can do-ism'. what a bunch of wusses we've become. after 5 fucking years of bush atrocities, we still stand around like shocked children not knowing which way to turn.

the president has declared himself absolute dictator and pissed on the constitution but there's really nothing we can do about it but watch and enjoy. how pathetic are we as a nation?

I'm ready to leaflet. I've called my congresspeople, and demanded action. What we need now is an organizer to get us to do all this stuff at the same time.
