What's po'ing me most about the state of the nation now is that

all the whining and handwringing pols are doing now could have been prevented. Many of us stood up and tried to tell legislators that they threw the baby out with the bath water--more than once. They threw away the people's war powers, the people's power of the purse, the people's civil liberties.

Vote them OUT!!! This whole congress needs to go, with very few exceptions.

Are there any senatorial hopefuls strong enough to challenge the insurmountable wall of corruption? New blood is good but only when there are veterans to guide them... otherwise, BushCo will ignore and marginalize the replacements, and even more easily than than he does the Old Guard.
