Well this is turning into a very nice day...
Edited on Tue Dec-20-05 01:49 PM by madmom
Went to the post office to get stamps and made the postal worker irate because I refused ronald reagan stamps. She said "most people don't care" and I said "well I'm NOT most people!"
Then I get home and check my mail and low and behold I have a thank you letter from Senator Harry Reid, for the words of encouragement we sent him.

2. I am not the kind of person to want to use Reagan stamps either
he was an actor, he did may bad things for America. So, good for you for sticking to your guns.

Regarding the note - Harry Reid has a posse.

3. The lady at my post office made me laugh
I asked for stamps and she pulled the Reagan stamps out of the drawer like she was grabbing a rat by the tail and asked if I wanted them. When I asked her what else she had, the Reagan stamps went back in the drawer like they were radioactive and she said that not too many people around here want those. Ahh, I like being in a blue state.

4. I love my postal worker. She's a true sister. She never offers
me flags or anything like that. Wants * out in the worst way.

5. I would have done the same. There is no way on earth that I would
ever pay for something with an image of Ronald Reagan on it. I guess they are trying to take away our freedom to choose which stamps we want, eh??

The fun never ends.

6. I bet they don't even offer them at my PO
