Here's the idiot's blod today:

Teaching Children The Finer Points Of Burning In Hell

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,179256,00.html

The opponents to the Truth in this country have won another battle today. They continue to push their wickedness upon the innocent and unsuspecting children of the nation, training them up in the service of Satan.

It's not enough that we teach our children the Truth on our own, because it takes an entire community to raise a child. But it seems that the community as a whole is subverting our ways and trying to turn our children away from God. Public schools are nothing more than a recruitment facility for Hell.

We can't allow this to continue, good Christians. All their science and theories attempt to blur what we already know to be true from the holy scriptures. If these people want to burn in Hell, then let them. But don't let them take our children!

Here are the responses:

Ah, so now science is unG-dly. Wow!

Soon, if it were up to you, we'll be marching backwards, through the glorious ages of that 16th century, when bigots burned the man who dared bring intelligence and enlightenment to the human mind!

We already have enlightenment, it's called the Holy Bible. These so-called proponents of science can be seen for what they truly are, worshippers of Satan. For only the minions of the devil would argue against the pure Truth of the Bible.

But Intelligent Design isn't Creationism, accoding to the Intelligent Design Network.

It is not what you believe.

www.intellgentdesignnetwork.org

It does not mention G-d at all. Surely, Intelligent Design will lead to a place a majority of the world doesn't believe exists, nor did exist before Plutarch in Ancient Rome.

Here's a little history lesson for you:

"Plutarch (46-125CE) and the early Christians viewed hell as a symbolic place. It was only over time that Christianity became the literalistic belief system that it is now, initially all of it's teachings were either Roman Mystery religion or Jewish in origin. The Valley of Hinnom was a place where sinners were actually burnt, the hell that the pagan religions believed in was a symbolic place (where those who died went) used to persuade people to behave better, and the Jews had little actual teachings on the concept of Hell. The result was that Christianity, a religion that was popular amongst the illiterate and undereducated in the Roman empire, lost its inner symbolic nature and became seen as an actual real place where sinners were punished forever, after death."

Hell apparently was a valley where people were actually burnt to death.

And your concept of Hell actually has it's origins in paganism, not the teachings of Christ, since Christ was a Jew and didn't believe in Hell. Actually, Christ was born during the heat (summer), not the winter. . .the movement of Christmas to near the winter soltice occurred in the 4th century to try to convert people from paganism to Christianity. The timing change occurred because the major pagan holiday is the winter soltice.

In fact, the Christmas tree is the pagan symbol of fertility. But, knowing how you Christian fundies hate sex, you would have no reason for that!

Here are his turds of wisdom: Turds of Wisdom from the asshole.

on edit: Put in the text boxes and added the moron's blog.

13. Sorry, a person can pray in school all they want.
Edited on Tue Dec-20-05 02:36 PM by longship
As long as:

It is not sanctioned by the school or any employee of the school district.
It is voluntary.

Religious student groups can even legally meet on school property and do whatever they do... Pray, etc.

The First Amendment does not outlaw prayer at school, or even prayer on school property. It only enjoins the school from taking an active part in it. Individuals can legally pray all they want.

I am an atheist, but I have absolutely no problem with people expressing their religious beliefs in public as long as they do not compel me to participate. As long as prayer is a personal thing and not imposed I am not uncomfortable with people praying to themselves or even in groups, even on government property. The test is if it has the sanction of the government.

2. I remember you posting about this guy before
I read through his blog, and his anti-Semitism lew my mind. Not just for its openness, but the pure, vile level of hatred. Seig Heil!

You oughta pose this question to him, it's one of my favorites: If the Jews killed Jesus, yet Jesus's whole purpose in this world was to die for the sins of mankind, then what the fuck is the problem asshole?

15. It's a plot.
Seriously. The Repub fanatics chose Texas as a testing ground for the crap they're pulling on the rest of the country now. Our (ex) education system is a prefect example. Texas used be be not only blue but progressive. That changed in the eighties. Not long ago, Ann Richards was Governor and we produced statesmen like Barbara Jordan. The Pubs moved in, bought off the Baptists, dragged out a Connecticut Yankee, spray painted him to look like a Texan, bought him the governorship, and systematically dismantled the State government, making it into a tool of oil money and fundy wackos. Once the method was perfected, they rolled it out nationwide. You see the result.

6. It's a small point but...
the Romans killed Jesus, not the Jews.
What I wonder about with the fundies is how they can hate members
of Jesus's own religion? Isn't that the same as rejecting Jesus?

8. But Jesus was the FIRST Christian!
That's what I've always heard. when Jack the Dunker baptised him, he was no longer a Jew.

Funny things they teach at that "Close Cover Before Striking School of Divinity and Taxidermy"

14. Well I'm no Biblical scholar but...
The Jews written about in the bible thought Jesus the Messiah was born to save them only. A lot of Jews who believed in Him were shocked that he also came to save the Gentiles.
There is also a group called Jews for Jesus. Being a Jew is more than a religion; it is also considered a nationality.

They are opting for ignorance and have the brain-dead audacity to promote it in a public forum. They deserve to be flogged this way. Good job!

They want a culture war, fine! All is fair in war, pal! No more maturity. Let's fucking give them what they've been giving us.

If some liberals can't take that, then shut up and get out of the way. I can be intellectual, but I want to flambe these fucks every chance I get!

I am like Mike Malloy! I fucking hate these sick pig bastard freaks!!! I HATE them!

because it takes an entire community to raise a child

Wasn't she the one who said "It takes a village..." and the freepers had fits over it?
