Current head of EPA advocated testing pesticides on humans?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_L._Johnson

During his Senate confirmation hearing, Johnson was criticized for his professed support for using human subjects in pesticide testing. In April, a hold was placed on his confirmation vote after he refused to cancel the Children's Environmental Exposure Research Study, which advocated testing the effects of pesticides on children from infancy to age 3. On April 8, Johnson canceled the study. His nomination was confirmed by the Senate on April 29.

Oh, these Bushies are a lovely bunch.

2. Ummm.... Human CHILDREN!!!
IIRC, it was a program touted to lower income families to earn money by intentionally giving/exposing their kids the stuff. Despicable.

7. I thought this was still on the table
There has been stuff posted recently about the newly proposed and badly misnamed "Protections for Subjects in Human Research" that reads like something Dr Mengele would propose.

5. He should do his testing on the denizens of "Freerepublic"
Oh wait... they have to be "human" subjects.

11. I just found out about it and I consider myself to be pretty well informed
Shows you how people can rise to power while the publics attention is occupied elsewhere.

10. Well, the Dems knew and could have blocked this

But, as usual- they did NOTHING to protect America's children- and THIS is why they lose.

And why they will CONTINUE to lose if they keep giving Bush Co. a pass- and you know what? They'll deserve to. This one was a real no-brainer.

But then again- so have tons of others. Next up Alito. Will the Dems sell us out again? And punt away another major issue- corruption? Stay tuned.
