3. Sadly, two of those juice drinkers are in my back yard...
both of the e-mails from Hollywood, Florida, are just jaw-droppingly naive. But, while you are right -- there's a lot of Kool-aid drinkers, it's good to see that there appear to be an about equal amount of rational, thinking human beings.

4. Remember what "Fair and Balanced" means in today's media
If they receive fifty emails opposing the illegal wiretaps and three in favor, you print six total (3 from each side) to show you are "Fair and Balanced".

6. Unfuckingbelievable
They are just mindless idiots repeating his stump speech of bullshit. They have no mind of thier own to see the truth.

Bush: "I can do anything. 9-11. Terra. 9-11"

Joe Sixpack and Jane Jackass: "Yessssss...9-11...terra..."

This is the stupidest country in the world. Hands down.

7. WSJ Online had an article today praising * for wiretapping
I wrote this letter to them and cancelled my subscription. They have posted 8 responses to their piece - mine is not one of them. BUT NOT ONE OF THE RESPONSES IS NEGATIVE?!?

Here's my letter - sent also to my reps in congress.

Re: Thank You for Wiretapping

The FISA Court clearly allows the government to wiretap immediately where there is need and gives up to 72 hours before they need to contact the court for approval. That negates the need for Bush to circumvent the court in order to get timely action. The only reason to circumvent the FISA court is if they would not likely approve the tap. IE: If there isn't probable cause or if the tap is politically motivated. Bush has clearly broken the law, and Americans are less free and less safe as a result. Our very democracy is threatened when a leader assumes for himself the power of prosecutor, judge and jury. America is a land of law, and Bush is not above the law.

8. the anti-spying ones are all so tame
there is not ONE that is passionate or sounds like a person speaking with any conviction at all. I think only one or two even mentioned the Fourth ammendment or the Constitution at all.
