Please help DU this poll...

"Should the Oshkosh Common Council approve placing a referendum to withdraw troops from Iraq on the April ballot?"

I think every town should start to put these out there and rebel against Bush's policy, but this poll is swaying way right... probably because Republicans are aware our city is a blue one now and this is their only shot to fight back.

What gives? Thought Wisconsin was less prone to such wingnuttery? Or is that Sensenbrenner's district?

5. We're in Petri's district...

There are wingnuts in Wisconsin, just check the State Assembly and State Senate. Oshkosh however has voted Democrat since 1992, has voted with Governor Doyle, with Russ Feingold and Herb Kohl... and in 2006 we're likely to flip a Democrat in our State Assembly seat with Gordon Hintz. But there are enough Republicans to go and pester a poll like this... which is why I recruited the help of my DU brothers and sisters. :)
