Corporate Media shows bias re: Judges with a Capital "B"...

I watched the news stories very closely yesterday, on cable as well as networks, to see if any Media Person would mention the fact that the judge in the Dover, PA Intelligent Design case who made the ruling was a very conservative judge appointed by Bush 2. Deathly silence is all I got. Never heard even a faint whisper. Nada, zilch, nichts!

On the other hand, first thing this morning, Soledad O'Brien and Jeffrey Toobin were discussing the federal judge who resigned in protest over Bush's usurpation of the FISA courts. All they could talk about was the fact that he was a liberal judge... and even went so far as to say, "liberal with a capital L"! Man, they were on that little factoid like stink on a skunk. It absolutely dominated the conversation. :puke:

It never ceases to amaze me how liberal our media in this country is! :sarcasm:

and I believe it was Soledad O'Brien who used the "L" line, but Toobin then agreed with her. I don't know if they do transcipts of their "internal" talk or if that is reserved for guests. Maybe someone else saw it and can give more detail. I was just taken aback by it all.

On Edit: Even if there is a trascript of this they probably would scrub the blatant bias... wouldn't want anything like THAT in writing, no, no, no. :grr:

She was very close to being condescending to Levin.

Exactly why he was on the show I have no idea, but she didn't obect when he said he hoped a new Christian New Orleans would arise and not be perverted like the old one...words to that effect.

She's very kittenish and submissive to "authority" figures.
