Bush admin to delist wolves
www.wilderness-sportsman.com

"CHEYENNE -- The Bush administration's announcement Tuesday that it is formulating a new plan to remove federal protection for gray wolves is not expected to make an immediate difference in Wyoming, the state's top wildlife official said.

Earlier this year, U.S. District Judge Robert E. Jones of Oregon ruled that the Interior Department had improperly drawn boundaries for differing population segments; struggling wolf populations in Oregon and Washington were included with thriving packs in the Northern Rockies, and the small New England population was lumped in with robust wolf numbers in the Great Lakes area."

1. Sure, sure, we see them down here in
Chicago all the time, walking the streets, smoking, littering, whistling at chicks. Time to round them up and get some use out of all that fur. It's not like they are loosing habitat is it?

2. we should delist republicans
There are too many of them
They constantly raid the environment, social programs and pension funds
They're dangerous to small children and livestock, particularly sheep.

It would appear to me that they qualify for culling.

5. You beat me to it
Delist the two-legged wolves, i.e., the repunks. Keep the four-legged wolves on the protected list.

3. Another giveaway to Western ranching interests
Great, just great. Just when wolves are starting to re-establish their range out here in the Midwest, where we desperately need them, Bushco is now going to declare open season. Let me guess, mountain lions are next:eyes:

Look folks, this is what you get with greater and greater intrusion into nature. We're having a serious problem, at least out here in the Midwest, with deer. Car accidents involving deer are up, diseases in the deer population are up(some of which, like Lyme disease, cross over to humans), crop destruction from deer is up, and hunting is way down. Introducing the deer's natural predators back into the enviroment would help a lot, but ranching interests override all.

This is just insane. I hope everybody enjoyed the wolves while they were around, now the only place your going to get to see one is in a zoo.

6. Bush is scared of wolves.
Remember that stupid campaign commercial with the wolves? Bush hates them for their freedom.
