The Next 24-Hour-A-Day News Story
Will be the 'Wives Club' that keeps getting mentioned in association with the Abramoff scandal.

Apparently the wifes of some of Jack Arbamoff's lobbying associates somehow influenced policy decisions for him. This could get real real interesting. Do they mean wives pressured their husbands or is there some much juicier story here. This could be far better than a missing teenage girl; this one could be milked for weeks and weeks by every talking head TV has ever seen.

We haven't had go good Governmental sex scandal since old what's his name ......

I can't wait.

1. When I was working with Economic Development
and we were trying to attract some major corporations, one thing we knew is that it's the wife that has the greatest influence in the final decision of the decision-maker.

2. A 21st Century 'Lysistrata?'
That would knock every other story out of the news cycle.

Or if it was a 21st Century 'Caligula' that would work, too...

3. Naaah. Nothing tops a missing white teenage cheerleader.
Sorry.

I guess the question is, who's behind all these disappearing young women? Surely our guvmint wouldn't actually kidnap and kill innocents for policy reasons.

Would it?

4. Actually, one thing tops even THAT...
And that's a no-holds barred, all-out celebrity media circus trial.

Of course, it has to be one that's held in my great state, but otherwise...
