More proof that Bush is an @55hole.
His arrogant "I'm your protector" attitude that he has been displaying this week.

6. My favorite line is when he says he's going to explain something
"in a way that the American people can understand it". Then we get the smirk and the condescending expression while he tries to remember how Karl simplified the explanation for him before he went on camera.

11. And when he's splaining...
Edited on Wed Dec-21-05 02:53 PM by butterfly77
he talks like we haven't had the experience of having a president before, so we don't know what the job description is and he hollers like, we will get the point then.

9. It's his sworn duty to Protect the CONSTITUTION
I'd bet that if he were given a 'Constitution Test' (like the ones students in my state are required to pass before graduation) he wouldn't be able to pass it.

15. It's one of the current right wing memes.
It's the right wing's "solemn duty" to protect us. Hannity and the rest use this phrase quite a bit lately.

13. the real irony is
it's him and his kronies we all need protecting from, them and their unquenchable thirst for power and unltimate control over everyones daily lives .... just incase we all suddenly wake up and realise the scam

wonder what he found out when he was spying on his own?

if he had peered into your life what would he have found?

a sheeple ??? or someone getting ready to make a stand against this nazification?

i am slightly more inclined to think from his latest climbdowns and lip-biting cringeworthy speeches he realised the games up, cats out of the bag and is either planning to retire into a volcano topped base somewhere .. or he should be

i hope america makes an example of these fabricating gangsters

our own tony blair is up to his neck in it aswell, we the people of these great nations need to show to the world what we do to leaders who decieve their people for their own ends

The broad masses of a population are more amenable to the appeal of rhetoric than to any other force.
Adolf Hitler

The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one.
Adolf Hitler

time to awaken the masses?

19. IT'S NOT HIS JOB...
Contrary to popular opinion, nowhere in the Constitution or in his oath of office is the President charged with protecting the nation.

He IS charged with protecting the Constitution however and upholding and executing the laws passed by Congress.

And the President doesn't have any magical unenumerated powers. Read the Constitution. All the unenumerated powers are reserved to the states or the people. (9th and 10th Amendments)

If it ain't in Article II of the Constitution, it's not within his powers.

Use their own small gov't, states rights words to hoist them on their own petards!
