Patriot Act
I trust that you all will set me straight on this.

Every news reader and commentator insists on saying that the Patriot Act has been stopped and will expire at the end of the year. My understanding has been that only certain provisions of the Act will expire, and that the rest of the Act will remain in force.

If I'm right, then all of those who go on about Congress damaging the U.S. by "killing the Patriot Act" are simply being hysterical, and we would be right in telling them so.
