Name That Candidate!
Which Democratic presidential candidate had this to say about hip-hop music and culture?

"Unfortunately, much of what they're selling is a fraud. They spew hedonism, misogyny, and self-hate. They glorify the prison culture, the pimp culture, and drug culture. They tell the young that they're not worthy unless they're 'rocking' Chanel, Gucci, or wearing platinum and diamonds. Not only is this message immoral, but it is also flawed. It's a lie".

Free round of Redhook to the first correct respondent

9. My guess too.
I think Salon had a nice interview with someone from the music buisness saying why the Democrats became uncool.

7. It wouldn't be surprising
I remember him on the Chris Rock show about 5 or 6 years ago blasting comedians who cussed. He even said to him if you quit cussing I'll cut my hair.

14. Mmm...Redhook!
I think that's only brewed out west. Redhook is jumbling their product line at the moment (they did away with the Hefe Weizen ), so who really knows!

If you make it to NH for the primary, you might want to try something from Redhook's cross-town rival, Smuttynose. Shoals Pale Ale is good if you are into the ale thing, Old Brown Dog is a solid dark beer, and I hear their stout is quite good.

12. Here's the giveaway
unless they're 'rocking' Chanel, Gucci, or wearing platinum and diamonds

I just can't see Joe Lieberman even knowing what "rocking Gucci" means.

19. Sharpton
One rapper said to him that rap is a mirror of life in the inner city. Sharpton said something to the effect of "I don't know about you, but the reason I use a mirror is to improve myself."
