17. you know, you would think.........
.....at some point, he would think maybe this isn't such a good idea.

I mean, he's been trying to sell this idea for 25 yrs! Now he tries to sneak it into the other bill and it still doesn't pass!!

You gotta wonder about the guy's sanity......maybe this guy isn't so smart if it never occured to him that he should give up on this ridiculous idea.

9. If he promises to jump, and I can witness it, he can have the bridge.
Oh, hell, we'll just sign over the Brooklyn Bridge and he can jump from that without waiting.

7. It seems they are holding ANWR over our heads
Each month they put it in there and we narrowly win. We feel good for a little while and then they through ANWR into another bill. It would be a real victory until the discussion about opening ANWR up is ended.

18. That will only happen when those cowardly pricks
decide to have an up-and-down vote on an ANWR bill not attached to any other legislation.

19. I just got back from work and yours was the first thread I saw!
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO relieved to hear this. When did they have the vote? I know I tivo'd hours of this while I was gone to work so I might have it, unless it was within the last hour. It stopped recording then.

Thank you so much for posting this. I was so concerned the whole time I was gone today that they wouldn't do that right thing!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
