Threatened, indeed. Bill is just jealous that Keith Olbermann is TEN TIMES the journalist he'll ever be.

Or at least that's my reading of it. It would rather like him to imply that O'Reilly is a large mound of steaming agricultural by-product than to say so outright, now wouldn't it? :7

He stirs up hate and bad feeling between people. That is all he is....

It just gives me a headache - I like Keith because he actually treats his guests with courtesy and doesn't have some pundit on only representing one side of the issue.

and the follow-up questions actually have something to do with the responses he got from the person he's interviewing. Wow, actually conversation instead of a rote recital of talking points; who'd've thunk it.

Maybe a debate on neutral grounds is in order. Might I suggest a non partisan panel of fact checkers who reward honesty while penalizing outright les? What do you say O'Lielly?

Why does he keep comparing himself to other people? What is he, insecure?

First I hear him slam Franken on his book sales.

Then I hear him brag that he's given tons more to charity than Nick Kristoff.

Now he's going on about Olbermann's ratings.

He'll be getting out a ruler pretty soon and challenging them to a dick-measuring contest.

His "How I Saved Christmas" routine was greeted with a lot of ridicule this year, so like so many losers he declared victory and pulled out. Plus he's getting long in the tooth. There must be a lot of days when the joints are creaking and the old loofah doesn't lather up quite as easily.

Now here's KO getting all the buzz, drawing the non-yahoo demographic that wouldn't touch O'Reilly with a 10-foot falafel. KO is also younger, smarter, waaaaay cuter, and a respectable journalist.

O'Reilly obviously cherishes the idea that he's the biggest baddest rooster in the henhouse. He's simply strutting around trying to guard this self delusion from perceived threats. Another rightwing bullying coward.

I so look forward to O'Reilly's inevitable downfall. It's bound to be spectacular.
