Trey Ellis: "The Only Cat Out of the Bag Is Bush's Dictatorial Designs"
Edited on Fri Dec-23-05 01:16 AM by understandinglife
Does the President truly expect anyone to believe that the revelation that he authorized domestic spying surprised any but the dullest of terrorists? I’ve got a (non-terrorist, U.S. citizen) friend who, when he talks on the phone, calls weed “Roquefort” because he’s so sure Big Brother Bush is listening in. I mean, what kind of brain-addled terrorist gabs on the phone to his uncle in Yemen about his plans to detonate Disneyland?

Seriously everyone -- we all know what the dudes were doing -- they were checking in on Dean and Kerry and Edwards and Hilary and Soros and ... Joe and Val ... and ....

Peace.

1. Add DeLay to the list of someone taking advantage, and
from the same source:

I spy a Democrat? RE: DeLay and the spy ring.

Perhaps one of the most obvious reasons for the Bush/Cheney NSA spy ring can be found in the extra-legal activities of their favorite Texas son.

In 2003, Tom Delay, the ex-exterminator turned money launderer, began using the Department of Homeland Security as his personal surveillance team. And who was the Ham spying on using our tax dollars and without any oversight whatsoever?

Turns out Hammy was tracking Texas Democrats who had left Texas to break quorum on the yet another questionable piece of legislation.

...this is Big O Zero. Meet me by the falafel for the instructions.

I got the package of HUMMUS!

Ooops. I've got to change phones. I only get 300 non-peak minutes this month...

3. terrorists have known for years...........
........that there is surveillance on their phone calls and computers!! And because of that, I just don't buy the argument that revealing this info was harmful to the fight on terrorism.

The only ones who were surprised by it are people in this country..........US citizens!!

Remember after 9/11, when they were creating the Patriot Act, they said they were making tough legislation to fight terrorism. And they added, but don't worry.........this won't apply to US citizens!!!

Yeah, right........
