Wow-- AAR is up to 84 stations!!
It had fewer than 30 when I started listening back before the
second stolen election-- obviously, it's finding an audience!!

2. Every right winger prediction about AAR was a miserable failure
Funny how right wingers are so boastful of how powerful their message is but the freaked out about AAR coming about.

3. Hasn't stopped them.. they're STILL ranting...
- it's nothing but a 'time buy' from Soros, he's paying for AAR to be on all those stations
- it has no ratings, no advertisers
- it's losing stations
- it will be gone in 1 month/3 months/6 months

They won't give up no matter what...

(chuckle) head over to www.xmfan.com and www.xm411.com and read some of the comments.. including some dicks that make comments like "dead liberals help the country" and jackasses who put web addresss like www liberalscum com in their sigs...

8. I sometime read fired RW Talk show host Brian Maloney's blog
He's tries to be a one man hit team against anything AAR. Of course, he ignores the idiocy of Limbaugh and the other wannabees.

4. Hooray!
I've been listening since their debut on AM radio in New York. It's fantastic to see them expand the network. Al Franken once said something important about the number-of-stations controversy: namely, although the right-wing bozos such as Limbaugh appear to have more of an audience due to the large number of stations they're on, a lot of those stations are in really small town areas, where the transmitter is in a little hut somewhere, and they're not reaching many actual listeners; it just sounds like an impressive number to say. However, if you add up the actual number of listeners, it takes dozens of the podunk stations to equal the pulling power of one station in a big city. AAR's channels tend to be in more populated areas. Furthermore, they have the Internet stream and satellite radio. (Yeah, I know the RWers do too, but in contrast, it's not as if AAR is alone in the wilderness, as in the lying impression Limbaugh et al. try to give.) So when these right wing skanks try to lie about the interest in AAR, tell them a little about reality.

Then again, they might just break out in hives...reality is not familiar stuff to them.

6. Then again you have to PAY to listen to Rush in a stream...
.. he's blacked out on every station I've ever seen with free streaming... as is most of the Reich Wing mouthpieces.

17. I don't think they KNOW the definition of the word "reality"
And it bet it sure gets them upset to hear how well AAR is doing!!

I read awhile back that it's RADIO and not TV that reaches the most
people-- so this really is great news.

:)

7. I knew AAR would be a success.
I loved it from the moment I tuned in. Every once in a while, I think about turning the dial and maybe listening to some other radio station while I'm in the car.

I never do. I can't go back to that old crap. It's gotten worse since I tuned them out. Thank God for AAR.

By the way, I think Randi Rhodes is beating our Scumbag Lars Larson in Portland.

9. I remember arguing with some "specialists" here on DU - who "knew"
that AAR was a gonner within a week of its debut.
I too knew it would succede as it was tapping a huge market that had no service whatsoever up to that point.

12. I just hope they get a better one in the Northern Jersey Area
From Rockaway west on 80 you barely can get the reception at all on 1190 AM. I don't know why the signal is so weak, but each time another DU'er posts additional AAR stations added I find myself scanning the list just hoping there's one for Jersey in there!

I'm getting a promotion in January. I'm hoping the salary increase is enough to afford satellite radio, then it won't be a problem anymore :)

18. I'd write them (with other neigbors) to let them know there's a demand
In the meanwhile, streaming is your option.
