It's time for Congress to take back it's power from Executive Branch..

First thing they should do is call the head of the NSA before them to testify, in secret if necessary, but they should hold his feet to the fire. Who the hell does he think he is! Is he sucking George Bush as he screws the rest of America. Shame on you General Hayden! You be exiled to an island, asshole. You have done great damage to our country. And, by the way, take your suck buddy George Dubya, with you.

1. They don't want it. There are still enough BushBot toadies in there

who will gladly hand over whatever he demands.

By the time they either realize what they've done or finally get voted out, it will be too late.

3. It depends. Without the "leadership" of Tom DeLay, the toadies risk

having their power challenged and diluted by moderate republicans and "true" conservatives.

This should get interesting as the congressional elections approach.

If they let him get away with all this !@#$% , then they will have effectively made themselves irrelevant and powerless. POWER is the coin of the realm in DC, and these guys are not going to give up any of it voluntarily.
