Just like a scummy Repuke deadbeat to think they don't have to pay their bills.

1. I Wonder This Too
yes, the taxes are my money, but the debt is my debt.

of course, their idea is cut everyone's taxes & do away w/social assitance programs because w/all the money you get back in taxes, no one will need assistance.

2. Hand the bills for the Christmas presents you buy to your children
or your grandchildren. Nothing wrong with that right?

3. You are exactly correct.
And since the "tax-cuts" are financed on the backs of future taxpayers (including those who can't even vote yet), I fail to see how those "tax-cuts" differ from welfare. We are merely redistributing wealth from those in the future to the benefit of ourselves.

Really pisses off Republicans to realize that they are taking welfare. :)

So have we have finally come full circle, taxation without representation?

We have seen the enemy, and he is us.(or something like that)

5. Personally, if the citizens have tried to pay the bills, and * and the
Pubbies refused the offer, then perhaps they are just offering to pick up the check and the tip. I'd say when the creditors come knocking we point them to * and the RNC and any R legislator that said it was okay to carry the debt. Let them pick it up. Maybe having Rs donate their time to government service over the next century rather than paying for it would pay the debt.
