4. I did and enjoyed it as well.
I am a big Sam Harris fan too so got a "twofer." The scenes from Gibson's movie were gross. The interview with the guy from the school was telling. Glad to see former fundies speaking up. Price's interview was the best IMO. I plan on watching it again this week with the kids.

6. it was about jesus and christianity. it started where jesus life

could be explained in 6 minutes. went through that. and then talked about how the gospels were written 40 years after jesus died. interviewed christians and why they believe what they believe. put in some clips from "the passion of the christ". the moderator went back to the christian school that he had gone to and interviewed the headmaster who when asked to produce scienfic proof of jesus pulled off the microphone and left the room. i would think that christians might be offended but my husband and i being non-christians loved it.

i got it through Netflix. i guess any video store would have it.

on edit: i thank DU for advertising it. if they didn't i probably never would have heard about it.

12. Just watched it.
My thoughts.
While interesting, and I believe coming from the right place, it was very short on historical evidence and long on sound/video bites and amusing little vignettes.

I doubt it will make even one fundamentalist Christian step back and take a closer look at the origin of their religion. It was very much 'preaching to the choir'.

The climax of the video seemed to be the end of interview and walk out by Sipus (sp?), who ran the Christian school that the interviewer attended. This made me think that the production was more of a personal odyssey than a serious attempt to present evidence pro or con the existence of Jesus and/or his status as Messiah, Christ, saviour.

It's definitely worth a look, and as I said the makers are coming from the right place, but I could have done with fewer cliched video and sound effects and a bit more research and historical detail.
