Hypocritical GOP/RNC cry "War on Christmas" & push to protect Xmas symbols
and yet what do I see when I go to their official website (HERE? A night time picture of the White House, a tree with lights and "Happy Holidays from the Republican National Committee". They also say "Have A Safe and Happy Holiday!" on the same page.

They pander to the extreme right while on the main page of their website they show those same people just how much they're all smoke and mirrors. The constant and consistent hypocrisy of this bunch of whacko's is mind boggling.

Oh and for those that missed Rep Davis' waste of time and tax payer money legislation that pass in Congress (401-22) to protect Christmas (and the rather Freeped "Do we need to protect..." poll about it): http://home.hamptonroads.com/stories/story.cfm?story=96954&ran=79144">Congress Moves To Protect Holiday's symbols

WASHINGTON — Prodded by U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Davis, R-1st District, a conservative Christian outspoken about her faith, the House of Representatives gave public celebrations of Christmas a symbolic vote of confidence on Thursday.

t least some religious and constitutional scholars also worried that the Davis resolution could blur lines between church and state.

G. Scott Davis , who chairs the Department of Religion at the Southern Baptist-supported University of Richmond, argued that “the idea that Christmas is somehow now in jeopardy seems at best bizarre.”

“Congress shouldn’t have any special call to save Christmas any more than it has a call to save Kwanzaa, or save Hanukkah,” Davis said.

1. Just how many Christian churches have been bombed this season?
I'm curious, because I haven't heard of a one, whereas a mosque was bombed in Ohio this past week.

4. Yeah they whine all the time about being so persecuted. I think
the RW "fundie" pseudo christians embrace the martyr complex a bit to heavily and need to read the red letter version of the Bible a bit more... and for themselves.

3. That pretty much sums it up doesn't it & they have the big brassy ones...
to call themselves "Christians" as they fight for "Christmas" even as they go against all that Jesus taught. All they truly are is the modern day equivalent of the Pharisees of Jesus time.
