Who is one person you would vote for if the only other choice was Bush?

I'd rather vote for Darth Vader, my dog, or even a piece of lint. I'd even vote for Tom Green (although he and * seem to share a fondness for "milking" horses) before I'd vote for Chimpy.

5. I was wondering if there is no choice

when a Repugnat is the only insect running if it's possible any where to write in yourself. I don't do a straight ticket since I follow a rule of voting for a Dem if possible, Green if not and if it is a Pug and a Libertarian I vote for the Libertarian. Lord knows I don't want them in but I want the Pug to know that he's got no mandate.

The electoral college system (winner takes all) pretty much shuts out third party candidates and is conveniently done so to keep democrats and republicans in power, no greens, no libertarians, etc. Even if only six people voted in an entire state that has say, six electoral votes, and the six people that showed up to vote were, three republicans, two democrats, and one for a third party. Even though 50% of the people voted for someone other than republican, the republican candidate would still get all six (100%) of the electoral votes and win by default.

If they were on the ballot with Shrub, I would not vote for: Osama, Saddam, Stalin, Hitler, Tojo, Mao, Pol Pot, Emperor Palpatine, Caligula, Pharoah, Cardinal Tomas de Torquemada or Ming the Merciless.

Any of the Middle or New Kingdom Pharoahs would be a big improvement.

I suppose Egypt did have some Pharoahs as bad as **, but their names tended to
