It is already December 26 in the East Coast
can we put the "Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays" to rest?

At least, until Good Friday/Easter rolls around?

12. The happiest!
Since you share your birthday with my boy.

He's 10 today.

"Y'know, Dad, I'll be hitting double digits tomorrow . . . "

Looked at him and said "Y'know what I'd like boy?"

"What, Dad?"

"I'd like to be around for you to tell me how it feels to hit TRIPLE digits."

Took him a minute.

He smiled.

So did I.

2. Merry Christmas Is A Holiday Spirit For A Lot Of People That Lasts Longer
Edited on Mon Dec-26-05 12:53 AM by OPERATIONMINDCRIME
than a day. I would expect to hear merry christmas from those I haven't seen yet at least until the new year. Kinda like your birthday is only a day but you would expect to hear happy birthday 2 days later if you saw a friend you hadn't seen yet :)

I'll probably be saying Merry Christmas well into the end of the week.

10. Preview of Bill O"Reilly's show in April:
"Folks, there is a war on Easter! Just yesterday the Plano Texas school district issued a decree that no easter eggs (chocolate or hard-boiled) will be allowed inside the school building. In fact, the school janitor was ordered to trap and kill all the bunnies hanging around the elementary school." Folks - this is liberalism run amok. And what about the town of Eerie, Indiana having a shortage of baskets, so the mayor has outlawed easter baskets! And finally, the citizens of Wahiawa Hawaii are not allowed to say "Happy Easter" but must use the greeting "Friendly Kahuna Day" or face a thousand-dollar fine. I'm telling you folks, you heard it on Fox News. Write your congressmen and complain. Nancy Pelosi has already taken away Christmas, dont let her get away with destroying our beloved Easter too." And that's my talking point for today."
