Here is my take on the Evolution/Creation issue..
First came the wheel/molecule. Man/God said hey that is cool, I bet I can make that thing work for me. Man/God takes the wheel/molecule and decides to use it in conjunction with other wheels/molecules and some levers/chromosomes and made a cart/animal. Man/God says hey that is pretty neat and useful as well so decided to fine tune the cart/dinosaur. Man/God decided to build a carriage/mammal and then realized he could do even better.Man/God then decided to build different types of craft/animal Ships/amphibians, airplanes/birds automobiles/homo sapien. Everything Man/God created was cool stuff so man/God decided to create more stuff and so man/God did just that. Everything just sort of evolved but was guided. Why can't the fundies get behind such a scenerio?

2. You're just saying god did it
and that's not science. It's an excuse not to pursue science.

After all, sticking god into it makes trying to find things out like the mechanisms for evolution and diversity into blasphemy. There is no mechanism. God did it. No need to inquire farther.

I'll tell ya what. You don't shove that god of yours into my science class, and I won't annoy you in church by getting up and giving lectures on microbiology.

Deal?

3. LOL
Good way to put it. Also, they need to keep their ideas out of my government too, and we won't tell them how to administer their churches.

4. If that is what you wish to think I don't care
What I am saying is I don't care how evolution came to be just that it is.. I can go along with someone if they want to say things evolved because God evolved them. I don't necessarily believe in god but if that is what someone wants to believe fine by me. The question is not who but how. by what process did evolution occur. Just as if you found a sophisticated piece of equipment and you wanted to know how it was made and for what purpose. That is science basically. Science wants to know how evolution occurs and why not whether God did it or not. Who really cares about anything like that anyway. Belief does not stand in place of investigation, reasoning, deduction and application. All I was doing was trying to offer an easy marriage of believers in God and Science. Not pushing anything upon anyone..
