"Lewinsky and Kaczynski" email...
Got an email from two different friends in the last couple of days. Cute limericks from a WaPo contest, apparently. The friends are apolitical, but the email was forwarded from a HUGE list of addressees, so I suspect a Rightwingnut in the woodpile somewhere.

Can't they just let Clinton go? A blowjob years ago.... seems like we've got more going on these days.

Anybody got a clever little FW I can "reply all" back?

email below...

> The Washington Post runs a weekly contest in its
Style
> section called the "Style Invitational."
> The requirements this week were to use the two
words
> Lewinsky (The Intern) and Kaczynski (the
Unabomber)
> in the same limerick.
> Remember, the following winning entries were printed
> in the newspaper.
>
> Third place:
>
> There once was a girl named Lewinsky,
> Who played on a flute like Stravinsky.
> 'Twas "Hail to the Chief"
> On this flute made of beef
> That stole the front page from Kaczynski.
>
> Second place:
>
> Said Clinton to young Ms Lewinsky,
> "We don't want to leave clues like Kaczynski.
> Since you made such a mess,
> Use the hem of your dress;
> And please wipe that stuff off your chinsky."
>
> And the winning entry:
>
> Lewinsky and Clinton have shown
> What Kaczynski must surely have known:
> That an intern is better
> Than a bomb in a letter
> When deciding how best to be blown

2. I could probably come up with one, when my anger subsides
from the fact that double standards exist in our system, that are too obvious to let go by the way side. By that I'm talking about Ted Kaczynski & Eric Rudolph, two right wing nuts that are still alive. These men are murderers. How did they escape the death penalty? When many others like them didn't!

I am glad that they do get to rot in prison instead of getting the easy OUT.

5. Had to do my own work...
I figured DUers would have a few quick answers for me... nope... so I did a little research. It seems the "Lewinski and Kaczinsky" email has been around since 1999, at least, and it comes from a limerick contest on Long Island. Never printed in the WaPo.

I did email a snarky "reply all" asking why an old turkey like this is making the rounds when the Bush stuff on the web is so good.

And I included these...

Well, in that case.... it's for a good cause!

A driver is stuck in a traffic jam on the highway. Nothing is moving.
Suddenly a man knocks on the window.
The driver rolls down his window and asks, "What happened?"
"Terrorists have kidnapped George Bush, Dick Chaney, Donald Rumsfield.
They are asking for a $10 million ransom. Otherwise they are going to
douse them with gasoline and set them on fire. We are going from car
to car, taking up a collection."
The driver asks, "How much is everyone giving, on average?"
"About a gallon."

Then, on http://expage.com/bushbusters02 there are a bunch of Bush Limericks.. like this one..

There once was a halfwitted Texan
Who managed to steal an election
He had a proclivity
For anything military
It helped him sustain an erection.

and others elsewhere on the web...

Oh how did that imbecile resident
Wind up selected as president?
With vocabulary crass
He sounds more like an ass
And nations worldwide they grow hesitant.

Oh lets give big breaks to the rich
By the trillions you son of a bitch
And cut veteran's pay
And give forests away
And leave sick and dying to twitch
