Who are the Theocrats in Congress?
I need some help with something.

Who are people in Congress who are with the Dominionists, support RW 'christian' based law, etc.

Inhofe is one, I could use as few as 10 and as many as about 30 people in both the House and Senate.

So, who would be a Theocrat?

What I plan to do BTW: Create a list of these Theocrats, then see their approval ratings, we can then see how much approval the 'christian' Right has. We can use this as a tool.

1. If they are listed (R - something), most likely they act ultra-christian..
so that they can get money...sorta like the Resident.

3. I would say this may be true if they are from the south or southwest
but not from the northeast, upper midwest, including Grassly of IA, and most of the West Coast - except for CA Orange and San Diego counties.

5. our two senators from the great state of Tennessee
attend the same church in Brentwood, but neither of them fit this definition, and you really think there aren't fundies in the upper midwest, say in the Dakotas? or in those really big california churches? I think the original post had a good question, and your reply is misleading.

6. I obviously as not familier with all but am thinking
of moderate, at least not rabid Rs such as

Lincoln Chafee of RI
Norman Coleman of MN
Susan Collins of ME
Elizabeth Dole of NC
Charles Grassley of IA
Charles Hagel of NE
James Jeffords of VT who was elected R and now an I
Richard Lugar of IN
John McCain of AZ
Olympia Snowe of ME
Arlen Specter of PA
George Voinovich of OH
John Warner of VA

And if you look at the most rabid ones, except for Santorum of PA, most are from the South, lower Midwest and the Southwest. Oh, and Alaska, of course:

Sam Brownback of KS
Tom Coburn of OK
John Cornyn of TX
Bill Frist of TN
Kay Hutchison of TX
Jon Kyl - AZ
Trent Lott - MS
Lisa Murkowski - AK
Ted Stevens - AK
