Google Mocks Christ on Christmas Eve( FR warning)
I'm going to warn you, this FR thread is going to make you dumber, guaranteed.

Google Mocks Christ on Christmas Eve
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1546782/posts?q=1&&page=151

For those that don't want to wade through shit, here is a synopsis. If you search under "baby Jesus" in Google, you get an ad for a Baby Jesus butt plug. This has made the wife-beater contingent at FR very angry- at Google.

"Garbage. Google is one of the most liberal biased, anti-conservative, Bush hating search engines I have ever used."
"Well, what better season for the pagans to attack Christ than on His own blessed birthday? The more childish and boorish these attacks get, the more you know Satan is involved"
"They will pay for it dearly when they stand before him."
"I expressed my displeasure to Google but that wasn't enough. I've notified my local paper and some of the local TV and radio stations as well as some talk radio hosts. I suggest everyone do the same. The negative PR might get Google to pay attention and fire who ever is responsible for this."

Thankfully, some freepers seem to have an idea of what a search engine is, so of course their conservative credentials are being questioned.

1. Oh my
I wonder how that got to be number one on the Google search. Well, however it got there, Google itself had nothing to do with it. Google just got google-bombed.

30. no, it's because Google is reflective of the world
at least the computer literate technology avaliable world. and that world dislikes George Bush, as much as he dislikes it.

Since when are sex toys political?

I didn't even know they could vote.

7. Clueless there... Here's some example of "liberal" Google bias!
Edited on Tue Dec-27-05 07:06 PM by calipendence
Back when Larry Franklin was exposed as a spy for Israel in what has become an investigation of AIPAC since that time, the almost daily google search hits that turned up in the news segment of Google for Sibel Edmonds suddenly dried up for a few weeks with absolutely NO hits then. Hmmm... I wonder why. Some were even speculating then that Sibel Edmonds might have had a Jewish background, making her "country" to protect in the gag order Israel instead of Turkey. Now she says they are definitely related to her stuff. Hmmm... That absence of news at the time sounds like a definite example of the "liberal" Google conspiracy now doesn't it?

I recall when "What A Girl Wants" came out on DVD, a google search in images section for the controversial original cover with Amanda Bynes showing the peace sign like the following pic was virtually *impossible* to get in their returned search hits, with a lot of the censored version coming up instead.

"Censored" cover that was actually released:

Yahoo though did show a number of sites with the "original" version of the movie poster. Hmmm... Sounds like another "liberal" plot by Google now doesn't it?

29. Incidentally
THAT is NOT a Peace sign in Britain.. I was over there in 1974 and after I got a lot of looks when giving people the peace sign (I was in the military, trying to be cool with the locals) I was told that every time I was giving the peace sign to folks in front of me I was FLIPPING PEOPLE OFF behind me :)

It's the BIRD in England, only shown backwards in this dvd cover, so essentially she's flipping off the Guards in the photo..

My wife and I wondered how in the hell that Billboard got out when we saw it in LA :)

8. Suppose they could try using the filters provided, but...
it's damned inconvenient turning it off whenever the wife leaves the house.

Google's SafeSearch blocks web pages containing explicit sexual content from appearing in search results.

:redbox:Use strict filtering (Filter both explicit text and explicit images)
:redbox:Use moderate filtering (Filter explicit images only - default behavior)
:redbox:Do not filter my search results.

17. That's fine, but the point is...
it's absurd to equate a stupid sex toy with a "Liberal bias." Sex toys are apolitical, I assure you. The Reich Wing wackos associating a thing like this with a vast left wing conspiracy just illustrates the depth of their paranoia and insanity.

These freepers are seriously twisted. The fact that they equate a Baby Jesus Buttplug with a Liberal bias just shows the depth of their fanaticism and depravity. Because, yeah, the great Hallmark of Liberalism is owning a Baby Jesus Buttplug. (????!!!!)

21. HAHA! And this: "They will pay for it dearly when they stand before him"
These Freepers, much like their hero Bill O'Lielly, are a LOOFAH MINUTE.

JESUS AT THE PEARLY GATES: "Ok, seriously, dude, the butt plug thing, not funny. Now there are sins, and there are SINS! Declaring war on an unarmed nation and slaughtering thousands of civilians, all in the name of greed and oil - CONDONING AND PROMOTING SUCH A WAR - totally forgivable. Leaving thousands of hurricane victims stranded on rooftops, or drowning in rivers of raw sewage - condoning such a thing, then blaming the victims - totally forgivable...but BUTT PLUGS?!? DAMN YOU TO HELL!"

GOOGLE GUY: "Um, could I interest you in my George W. Bush Butt Plug instead, then?"

JESUS: "Now you're talking. Come on in."

22. "Pagans attack Christ?"
Interesting. Seeing as how their whole religion was stolen by the idea of a male "Christ"-like fantasy character and turned into a narrow-minded patriarchal religion, can't say I blame 'em.

Lilith came before Eve
Pagans came before Christians

Tell them that, and watch their heads fly off ... sell tix to the event. Ha.

Then have them try "great president" to show what idiot tin foil hatters they are!

28. it's a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts
google's results ranking is based primarily on link popularity, so all of these conservative websites you see complaining about it reference the butt plug website while mentioning baby jesus, thus increasing its relevance with every mention.
