10. Attention BB or blow-gun owners.
Download the masks on this site, they're perfect. Myself and my boys, ages 10 and 15 have several of Bush as well as other favorites but this one of Bush's mouth is the perfect bullseye. I printed two so we'll always have a fresh one.

13. He tried to blow up the King and Parliament
in the early 17th century. He was the one caught red-handed, on Nov 5th, under the Houses of Parliament in a cellar full of gunpowder. The plot was by Catholics, designed to allow a Catholic king (or queen?) back on the English and Scottish thrones.
Every November 5th, bonfires are lit, and often, a dummy burnt in effigy on it, called a Guy. Some Catholics are a bit pissed off at this. Nov 5th is also the 'fireworks night' in Britain, since it's associated with gunpowder.

The town of Lewes has for many years burnt effigies of contemporary figures on their bonfires; Dubya was burnt last year, bin Laden the year before.
